

지난 6월6일에서 9일까지 4일에 걸쳐 코엑스 아셈홀201,208호, 그랜드볼룸104,105호에서 2006 Pan Pacific Conference가 총 390여명이 참여한 가운데 성공리에 개최되어습니다.
총 85편의 논문이 발표되어 뜨거운 토론의 장이 되었습니다. 참석하여 주신 회원 여러분들께 감사의 말씀을 드립니다.
이번 2006 Pan Pacific Conference는 국내 펄프제지산업에 관련된 학계 인사는 물론 산업체와 관련된 기술자, 경영자, 설비 메이커, 화학약품 공급업체 기술자와 부재료 공급업체 등 336여명이 참가하여 국내에서 개최된 제지분야 컨퍼런스 가운데 가장 많은 제지기술인과 학자가 참석한 대회였습니다.
특히, 2006 Pan Pacific Conference는 미국, 캐나다, 일본, 호주, 대만의 제지학회에서 대표단을 직접 파견하였을 뿐 아니라 중국, 인도네시아, 독일, 스위스, 브라질을 포함한 15개국에서 저명 제지기술인이 대거 발표와 토론에 참가하였습니다.
